Middle Village is a quiet residential neighborhood in the heart of Queens, surrounded by huge cemeteries, such as St. John's Cemetery to the east and the Lutheran Cemetery to the south and west. Some smaller shops are located along Metropolitan Avenue, which is the main commercial street of this neighborhood.
