PARK SLOPE

Park Slope is probably one of the most attractive neighborhoods to live in Brooklyn. Despite being a relaxed residential area with beautiful row houses, historic brownstones and tree-lined streets, it is far from being boring and sleepy. Top-rated restaurants, lots of bars, shops and boutiques characterize the neighborhood. Along 7th Avenue you’ll see some newly arrived refugees from Manhattan pushing strollers past family-owned bookstores and coffee shops. Two blocks west, 5th Avenue is the main commercial strip with younger folks mixing in bars, restaurants and clothing boutiques. Park Slope is also known to have a strong and lively Lesbian community.
